Why is NJ TRANSIT studying Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)?
BRT is a quicker and more reliable form of bus service, providing dedicated travel lanes and other features for buses. This will result in faster and more dependable service for travelers, thus reducing the number of vehicles on the roadways and improving air quality.
Will there be a chance for the public to be heard?
There will be opportunities for stakeholders to express their views and ask questions through stakeholder meetings and Public Open Houses throughout the project. These meetings will be posted on this website and announced in the community.
